School Community Group
All parents and caregivers are welcome to get
involved in our School Community Group. Come along to our next catch up and see
what it’s all about or follow our Facebook
page for the latest news. We are always keen to hear any ideas people
have for fundraising or events that support our wider school community. Get in
touch with any of our office holders (see details below) or send us an email.
Aims
- To foster goodwill through organising social events that bring school and community together.
- To undertake fundraising.
- To assist staff in mounting parent education classes as the need arises.
Meetings
Meetings/catch ups The meetings are open to all parents and are held twice a term. We usually hold them somewhere social so we can enjoy getting together and having a dessert/coffee/wine, as well as running through the meeting agenda.
The Annual General Meeting will be held on Thursday 25 March 2021, time and venue to be confirmed.
Want to help out but can’t make it to meetings? Add your name to our ‘Friends of the SCG’ list (email stjosephs.schoolcommunitygroup@gmail.com), which we use to request occasional help.
