Room 5 spent three days camping at Peel Forest at the Eco Lodge. Students slept in tents and parents used the lodge facilities and bunk rooms. The first day of camp the YMCA came out and ran some challenging adventure based learning games. The Dads were as challenged as the  students o the gutter ball activity. It was a very hot day so in the afternoon they took to the bush for a lovely walk to Emily Falls. The pizza for tea was delicious cooked in the pizza oven. The next day they went to Orari to learn archery and made amazing progress with many hitting the bulls eye. The next stop was the Geraldine Fire station and to add to the excitement they got a call out while the class were there. It was pretty impressive how quickly the volunteers arrived to get out on the call. Later that day they enjoyed a great swim in the pool and fish and chips for tea in the Domain. Net day was pack up day . On the way home they stopped for a game of mini golf at Orari then had lunch in the Temuka Domain. Thanks to all the parents who helped on the camp.
